Temporary Residence Permits

The Pink Slip (Temporary Residence Permit) is a straightforward option for moving to Cyprus. Applicants must show foreign income, around €24,000 per year for a single applicant or €33,000 for a family of three (after tax). Health insurance and a clean criminal record are required. This permit is valid for one year, renewable, and does not grant the right to work.

The Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa allows IT professionals to live in Cyprus while working remotely. It is valid for one year initially, with the option to extend for up to two additional years.

Permanent Residence Permits

Cyprus Residency by Investment offers a fast-track route to permanent residency through an investment of €300,000. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum annual income of €50,000 and maintain a clean criminal record, updated every three years.

Permanent residency can also be obtained through long-term residence (five years), marriage, or permanent employment.

Category F Residence Permit is available without investment. It requires a minimum annual income of €9,568 for a single applicant, plus €4,613 for each dependent. This permit does not allow employment in Cyprus. Currently (September 2025), the Migration Department is processing applications submitted in 2019, so applicants may need a temporary residence permit while waiting for a decision.

EU Citizens – Yellow Slip

EU and EEA citizens staying in Cyprus for more than four months can apply for a Yellow Slip (Registration Certificate). This permit provides full employment rights, the ability to run a business, and the same access to the labour market as Cypriot citizens.

Business Immigration & Work Permits

The Cyprus Business Visa offers residency for company owners and employees of registered businesses, requiring a minimum capital investment of €260,000.

Category C (Owners) and Category E (Employees) permits allow unlimited residence as long as the applicant maintains ownership or employment.

The EU Blue Card is available for highly skilled non-EU nationals, requiring a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum annual salary of €43,632.

We also help companies secure work permits for third-country nationals through the Business Facilitation Unit (BFU). These permits allow employees to work legally in Cyprus without the employer having to meet the usual labour market test requirements.

At Neocleous & Neocleous LLC, we ensure every immigration application is carefully prepared and submitted in full compliance with Cyprus law. Our goal is to provide clear guidance, professional support, and smooth solutions for individuals and families moving to Cyprus.
